This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a kindergarten teacher, it is very important for me to provide opportunities for my students to get up and walk around. I love to allow them to do activities like "write the room" where they use a clipboard and find different task cards to complete. Having a sturdy writing surface in critical to students practicing correct penmanship.

I want to give my students clipboards so that they can do their work on the go.

Whether they are coming and doing whole group work at the rug, or wandering around the room completing tasks on their own. I have also asked for pencil clips so that they can always find their pencils as well as storage. I feel like these will help my kindergarteners learn on the go.
