This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am always looking for ways to add new books to my “take home library “ and adding the books I selected from Lakeshore will for sure be a great addition. I have been wanting some nice bean bag chairs and have requested them in this Donors Choose campaign so that my students can have a soft place to read or calm down. I also asked for some reusable elkonin boxes to help with their sound spelling. Many of my students are behind in their first grade reading skills and being able to send books home nightly to share with their family will for sure increase their reading skills and benefit them for years to come!
