We are working on the kids taking the initiative to begin the work day by coming into class, getting their binders, and starting to work on assignments that align with their IEPs. This prepares them for life after high school so they are learning they can start something that they know they need to get done before having to be told. It also creates a routine that is great for many of them due to their diagnosis that aligns with being in special education. This is getting them ready to be life, college, and career ready.
