My students need to be be challenged in a variety of ways because they are special needs I can't use the traditional material being taught. I have to meet them at there level and with the things that interest them. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom are easily distracted because we have to chunk their learning into small pieces so that they don't get frustrated and overwhelmed. My kids will go to computer time, drawing, and phones to occupy there time and I want to keep them actively engaged in learning new educational material. We currently use a lot of interactive material on the white board, and whole group learning, and I want to build there confidence in reading on an independent level. These materials will allow me to help build there confidence while staying on track of the curriculum of the district as well.
