Working in 3 Dimensions

Help me give my students the chance to design and manufacture their own 3D creations. This is a companion project to the Community project we started in August!

My Project

At the start of the school year, we developed a community art exchange project. We got a classroom vending machine and filled it with tiny treasures. Students have had many opportunities to "win" prizes from the vending machine over the first semester of school.

Now, our project can move into PHASE 2!

Students will design their own treasures to go into the vending machine. My 5th and 6th grade students will learn how to use 3D modeling sofware and utilize the 3D printer to bring their own designs to life and then put them out into the school prize economy for others to enjoy!
