My Students

My class is full of students who are excited to be at school each day to see what we will learn. Our favorite time is pulling out a keyboard and singing songs together that help us to learn our letter sounds, math facts, and about the world around us.

All of the students in our school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

The diversity that exists in our school comes from the reservation which borders our district and the Hispanic population that helps our farming community.

My Project

For students with ADHD, focusing on school work can be a difficult task, but is still vitally important towards academic growth. I want to have an iPad in our classroom that is loaded with fun and engaging educational games to use as a motivational reward to encourage students to work hard.

Students love to use iPads for work and play and having access to one in our classroom will make it easier for students to receive the reward of playing and learning.

We also know that first graders try to be careful, but sometimes fall short. Having a good case to protect our iPad, like the Otterbox Defender, will keep the iPad safe and in good working condition.
