My Project

New desks will help students feel safe and organized within the classroom. Fifth grade students love to have their own desks that hold their own supplies. They enjoy being able to take their books out of their desks, instead of having to search for it around the room.

Students deserve a desk that will not break on them and allow a collaborative work space.

The students in my class have all different types of desks. They are different heights, colors, some are even held together with duct tape. When students are sitting in collaborative groupings, they are unable to work together due to their desks not fitting.

New desks will help students flourish and feel like they matter. They will be able to use it for themselves and have a safe spot in the classroom to call their own.
