This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year on our last day, I love to celebrate the start of the new journey my students are undertaking-middle school! We work so hard all year and this is the day we play hard! I hold a Mario Kart tournament (with a prize for the winner), we make friendship bracelets, decorate and sign blank books with kind messages and well wishes!

This celebration helps foster a sense of community and belonging as they come together to celebrate their achievements and friendship.
