The snacks help students stay focused and engaged during longer learning times, while also supporting those moments when they need a quick boost of energy. The wipes help students take responsibility for cleaning up after hands-on activities and caring for our shared space. The emotion books have become an important part of our social-emotional learning. One special moment was during a read-aloud when a student used the book to explain how they were feeling and connected it to a character in the story. It helped the whole class better understand emotions and how we can support each other.\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these tools during group work, transitions, and social-emotional learning lessons.
