This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Yoga pants remove barriers like self-consciousness, allowing students to focus on wellness rather than what they’re wearing. Comfort leads to reduced anxiety or distraction, which is especially important in mindfulness activities like yoga and meditation. Feeling supported and appropriately dressed for movement helps students focus inward, regulate emotions, and build positive body awareness. Yoga pants are easy to wear throughout the day and can transition from class to fitness activities without the need to change. For some families, providing yoga pants can ensure students have proper attire for movement-based learning, leveling the playing field for all.

Using a steam mop cleaner has made a big difference in maintaining a clean and healthy classroom environment.

The steam mop uses high heat to sanitize floors without harsh chemicals, making it a safe option for both students and staff. It effectively removes dirt, dust, spills, and even germs—especially important during cold and flu season.

Regular steam mopping keeps the floors looking fresh, reduces allergens, and creates a more welcoming, organized learning space. Clean floors also help prevent slips and falls, supporting a safe environment for students to move around freely during activities. Overall, it's a quick, eco-friendly way to maintain cleanliness and promote hygiene in the room.
