This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Preschoolers need to be active, and a water balloon party gets them moving! They can run, jump, throw, and catch, which helps with their gross motor skills and overall fitness.
Water balloon games, like throwing and catching, help improve hand-eye coordination.
Stomping on balloons can even help with foot-eye coordination and balance. Activities like filling balloons or handling them can also work on fine motor skills and dexterity.
Water is a great sensory play material for young children.
Touching, squeezing, and feeling the water in the balloons offers a unique tactile experience. Popping balloons can also provide interesting sensory input. Water balloon games can be played in groups, encouraging sharing and cooperation.
Relay races or target practice activities can promote teamwork and communication.
A water balloon party is a fun and exciting way to wrap up the school year. It's a memorable experience that the children will enjoy. It's a great way to cool off and have fun during the summer months. Water balloon games can help children learn about cause and effect. Target practice can help with accuracy and focus.
