At our elementary school, we focus on rewarding our students for showing our principles of PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports). Our principles are: Be respectful. Be Safe. Be responsible. Students then earn "Who Bucks" when they show these principles throughout the school.
Once a month, students are rewarded for displaying our principles in class, on the bus, in the hallways, at recess, and in the cafeteria.
Teachers host a club that students can choose to go to. Students are able to pick their top three choices. One of the clubs is Board Games. This project will give our students new games to choose from as well as enough for all the students to play.
As a member of the PBIS team, I am always looking for ways to support both the teachers and the students. This project will help me give support to the teachers that run the club and to the students to give them something they will have fun doing.
