This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Work and play, are a great combination and a formula for success. It requires balance, stamina, and resources. Our third graders need the benefits of physical activity to increase in their concentration, motivation, and confidence. The lack of stamina to focus and learn has decreased over the past couple of years and needs to be curtailed. By providing our students with outdoor equipment such as basketballs, scoops, paddles, etc., they would be more inspired to work harder during their day!
It would be so wonderful to instill in our third graders that by improving their physical fitness their concentration would increase, their cardiovascular fitness would improve, and that their sense of pride would also increase.
Can you imagine what it will do to our test scores?
The balls, pickleball set, and catch game would help to motivate them to get up and move and provide them with choices. The benefits are endless as is the amount of fun!
