Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students work hard every day to learn basic life skills. This includes the art of learning to play together. One important skill that we all learn is turn-taking. Many of these games can be played in groups and will allow them to practice these skills.
Puzzles and games can help students with special needs learn key skills, through a multisensory approach.
These are early problem-solving skills that my students will benefit from.
Our classroom doesn't have space to add new materials, but these storage centers would be a huge help to keep all needed materials close to the student's desks. All of these supplies would benefit my staff and students for years to come.
