Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Arriving to a new country can be difficult, but with the right tools, it can be an extraordinary experience! My students are language learners! Some know two languages and are learning a third! They are dedicated and hard-working students ready to tackle the English language.

Using headsets with microphones are necessary to aide in their language development.

When they use an education based digital platform, it requires them to listen and speak in English, engaging them in the literacy skills in English; the headsets will allow the entire class to use the program simultaneously without interfering with anyone's learning.

Communication is key! Having students with multiple languages other than English can be challenging to understanding their needs and wants at times; it also becomes difficult to communicate and understand their families. The translation earbuds would facilitate conversation with students and families in an easier, quicker way.

Also, having prizes available in the classroom would help make learning fun and rewarding for the students!
