Help me give my students the tools to improve their writing and vocabulary by using the Emotional Thesaurus and the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Thesaurus, a great tool for the budding writer!

I teach high school on a college campus! My school is an early college with an international focus. Our program teaches the basics of language, culture, and diplomacy. Volunteerism is a cornerstone of our program, and this coming school year I want to introduce activism as a real-world concept to my students.
Many of my students come to the early college program looking for an educational experience that cannot be found in other, more traditional programs, but most are not prepared for the kind of challenges we offer.
Access to books and other resources are limited for many. The average early college population is made up of first-generation college-bound students; some have parents who have not finished high school. Many have never traveled outside of our county, so experiences that bring the world to life are limited. My kids lack resources and supplies to complete many real-world projects.
Additionally, early colleges, because of funding sources, have limited resources at the school level. We are usually small in size and therefore have a difficult time fundraising and finding ways to provide an enhanced educational experience for many of our students.
Developing a powerful vocabulary is essential to becoming solid writers and speakers and the use of a thesaurus can greatly enhance that process. The purchase of these thesauri will allow my students to enhance their vocabulary while further developing their research skills.
Giving my students the tools to engage in vocabulary development is a great way to help improve their reading levels, build vocabulary for the SAT/ACT, and provide them the means to be excellent communicators for life.
Please help me fund these much-needed tools for my classroom! While we have computers, they must understand how to use non-digital resources in their research.
