Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Some of our students are still getting a grip on reading, whether because they are learning English as a new language or because they process concepts differently.
With these gorgeous picture books and resources, all students can create.
When we work on writing, lots of kids think they aren't good at it for superficial reasons. Using story prompts, simple Spanish books or wordless picture books will help everyone get their brains moving. English Language Arts encompasses lots of skills. All students have ideas in their heads, waiting to come out.
