My Students
My busy second graders are on their way to becoming fluent readers. They are excited to dive into their word work, but we have very limited supplies for them to help them be excited about word work and especially to keep them engaged.
My Project
My inner city second graders are full of excitement for learning. Many come from homes were there are no books or computers, and many children don't even leave the house. The children love to come to school just so they can get books to read, get outdoors to play, spend time with friends, and get a warm meal.
