My Project

My second grade students often need more targeted instruction with their new spelling patterns in order to read grade level text. This year, I've noticed how beneficial small-group instruction is in helping my students learn to read using research-based methods. I'm requesting engaging tools to help assist my reading instruction in small reading groups.

Engaging tools to help facilitate reading and writing will benefit my students in ensuring they have mastered the skills necessary for proficient grade-level reading.

Facilitating orthographic mapping through targeted phonics instruction aligning with research based UFLI instruction will help those students in my class who struggle to read.
