This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, curious, and full of potential. They come to school each day eager to learn, despite the challenges they may face. Many are building foundational reading and writing skills and learn best when they can move, manipulate, and engage with materials that make literacy come alive.

Every child deserves tools that meet them where they are and help them grow.

The Snap & Build CVC Words kit will strengthen decoding and word-building skills for emerging readers. The Phonics & Language Skills Folder Game Library (Grades 2–3) and Alphabet Folder Game Library (PreK–K) offer engaging ways to practice letter-sound relationships and early phonics. The Phonological Awareness Folder Game Library (K–1) will help students with essential listening and sound discrimination skills. The Grammar & Writing Folder Game Library (Grades 2–3) builds sentence structure and writing confidence, while the Vocabulary and Language Skills Folder Game Libraries (K–1) support comprehension and oral language development. Each game gives students the opportunity to learn through play, build independence, and grow as readers and writers in a meaningful, hands-on way.
