Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Writing a book, brings a lot of excitement and learning opportunities. Some 5th grade students at our school were selected to complete a Kindness Poetry book that is in now in the process of being published. These students worked together and overcame challenges to complete our book called "A World of Kindness". They each created their own illustration and piece of poetry that reflected kindness. Now it's time to celebrate their hard work and published book.

The products selected will be used to create wonderful memories and keepsakes for our 5th graders to hold onto as they graduate and move onto the 6th grade.

The printer ink will allow me to print multiple colored certificates for each student, and the laminated sheets along with the award covers will keep them protected. The fun scented, and color motion bubble pens will be used to celebrate their work and sign each others book with kind words. Lastly, each drawstring bookbag will be used to hold their published book, pens, and certificates of completion. Woo hoo to the 5th grade writers!
