This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love listening to stories and are beginning to understand what it takes to be an author. They are just starting to learn how to write letters and words. A few are even beginning to write sentences. All my students have different learning abilities and have been impacted by the years of interrupted learning due to COVID-19. They need a boost to catch up on their writing skills.

Teaching little ones how to write is one of the most incredible gifts teachers can give their students.

With these writing supplies, they will blossom into little authors!

We will use the pencils, pens, sentence strips, and paper to create our own little books. We will use the fine motor tools and sensory toys to strengthen our little fingers. The short and long vowel books will be used to help them with spelling in their own writing.

I am so excited to get these resources into their hands!!
