This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In kindergarten, students begin to learn to write. By providing each student with their own writing journal, students will be able to begin the process of writing independently. My students would usually complete a writing worksheet each day. The great thing with these writing journals is that each student will be able to see the growth they have made in writing from the beginning of the year, where a lot of students are just learning to form letters, to the end of the year where these students are independently writing simple sentences.
