My students love to learn through engaging, hands-on activities!
I have 22 wonderful, energetic, and brilliant third-grade students.
They are all very hard workers and want to succeed in class. Our school is a large elementary school with approximately 600 students. We have a great staff that works hard to make sure our students have what they need to succeed. However, due to the size of our school, any extras in the classroom often come from the pockets of the teachers. This makes it difficult to provide all the things that are needed or wanted in the classroom.
My Project
Third grade is an exciting time for students! They transition from writing small paragraphs to large research essays within the school year!
I would love for my students to have the materials to help them draft, edit, and publish the writing they work so hard on!
Writing five paragraph essays is a daunting task for some students since it takes several days or weeks to complete, so any materials to make this easier and more enjoyable is much needed!
My students will use the folders to store their essays throughout the entire writing process. After writing their final drafts, my students' favorite part of writing essays is publishing their completed work! The laminating pouches, sentence strips, and construction paper will allow all of my students to proudly display their completed work for their classmates to see!
