This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am very lucky to work with a wonderful group of children. I love them and enjoy every minute of my days with them. They range in age from 5 to 11 years old. They are very eager to learn and create artwork. I love working with them everyday and sharing my love of art.

My students are resilient and creative - working with limited resources and producing beautiful artwork.

They deserve to have new materials to use in school. With our budget, it is sometimes hard to provide them with the same opportunities other students receive.

My Project

I chose different materials that will be used together to creative some beautiful mixed media art! The watercolor pencils and neon oil pastels in particular would be a wonderful addition to the Moody School Art room! These will help provide variety in my classroom.

My students will love the watercolor pencils and the neon oil pastels, it's easy to be creative and have fun with them!

We love to use oil pastels and watercolors in my classroom, unfortunately we also use all these materials up very quickly and would love some replacements!

I love introducing new ways of creating artwork to my students, it keeps them on their toes and makes art much more fun! I know they will be just thrilled to try out the watercolor pencils and the neon oil pastels!
