Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This up-and-coming school year I will be a certified teacher! This is my first year as a second-grade teacher and I am filled with excitement for my new students. The supply list that I was able to create has been a helpful incite of material for their creative side. The crayons and markers will help us while we are working on book talk lessons that include a few books from the list as well. As a reading teacher, we all need a rug. On the rug, my students will be able to have circle time. We can gather there for learning, laughter, and fun. On my list, there are other materials like pencils, books, and a sharpener as well.
