Wonder Wednesday Small Group Time!

Help me give my students journals to document their ideas, folders to store their work, and headphones for multi-media activities during our small group Wonder Wednesday work!

My Project

Each week during small group time, my students will have an opportunity to enjoy a menu of interdisciplinary activities in our Science class, to both support the development of an inquiry mindset in our classroom community, and as a routine for supporting them in literacy and academic vocabulary. As I pull students in small groups to conduct mini-lessons about argumentative writing or academic vocabulary that is embedded in our units of study, I would love for my amazing 6th grade Scientists to be able to document their learning in blank books (ideal for both writing and drawing), as well as support them with organizing their work with individual folders they will keep in the classroom. Students will also engage in multi-media activities where headphones will come in quite handy!

Help my students enjoy Wonder Wednesday activities that will spark curiosity, creativity, and continue to cultivate their genius together in community!
