it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to provide my students a cozy corner to so a novel study. “Wonder” has so many Social Emotional Learning opportunities. I want to provide them with a space, separate from their desks, in which they can immerse themselves in reading. I want to be able to give my students the warm environment to curl up with a good book. It is my hope that they take these reading habits home and create a space to call their own. I have had many students tell me that “there is nowhere to read” at home and I want to show them any space can be transformed.
