Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I’m requesting will provide my students with hands-on, interactive learning experiences that go beyond traditional textbooks and lectures. For the chair pockets, they will allow students to access their supplies quickly and not wasting any of their learning time looking for their supply. Number lines will help them master this strategy while adding and subtracting lesson, making learning more engaging and personalized. Labels and ink will help me print a science vocabulary in both English and Spanish to build my students vocabulary skills, that will fostering a deeper understanding and curiosity. all the toys will be for their treasure box to motivate them to put best effort and show their best. The primary goal of this project is to enhance student engagement and achievement by incorporating innovative tools and resources into the classroom. By doing so, we aim to improve student motivation and interest in the subject matter; foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills; provide opportunities for collaborative learning; ensure that all students, regardless of their background, have access to high-quality educational resources.

My students are incredibly diverse, coming from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, which brings a rich tapestry of perspectives and experiences to our classroom.

They are curious, resilient, and eager to learn, often going above and beyond in their studies. Despite any challenges they may face outside of school, they show up every day ready to engage and grow. Their unique qualities and determination make them truly special and deserving of the best educational opportunities we can provide.
