My Students
When you walk into my classroom, you will see creative and innovative students. My classroom motto is, "It's okay to think outside the box." Students are growing up in our ever-changing world and need the important chance to think freely in multiple and varied ways.
Thinking outside of the box is not something that every teacher enjoys, but the reality is that not all students fit inside the box.
My classroom is a safe haven for all students to learn.
My Project
There is "wonder" everywhere you go. Whether it be in your school, your house, or in a book there is always a sense of "wonder."
The book Wonder will allow my students to learn to never judge a book by its cover.
Auggie is a character that teaches students the importance of being nice to everyone, regardless of what you look like. Students will experience what it's like to be different and how to embrace it.
All students could use a little "Auggie" in their lives. Students will learn the importance of kindness, friendship, loyalty, and love.
