This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Women's History Month is coming soon, and we are getting ready to celebrate. My 4th graders will be writing biographies on women who are inspirational, and they will be creating lap book projects to share during Open House. I want my students to be excited about this project, so I will be creating a bulletin board where they can showcase their work. I would like to decorate the board with lights, paper fans, a banner, and inspirational posters. I will add my own classroom books that they can refer to when researching the person they will be writing about. The black markers will be used for poster making, and the snacks will give them the energy they need to focus while working. I want to make this Women's History Month fun and engaging. These materials will help make our room beautiful while reminding students about the strong women who have helped shape society today.
