My Project

One of the most essential parts of my class is comprehending and analyzing the text we read. The requested materials will help facilitate and support the comprehension and analysis throughout the course. The highlighters and pens will help students annotate texts, both literary and informational texts. The easel pads will help them visualize their analysis amongst their small groups. The goal is to encourage a closer reading of the texts to deepen their comprehension and understanding. This will help them go even deeper past their own understanding of texts. One example is the collaborative rhetorical analysis poster we will do with the Easel Pad sheets this semester.
