Help me give my students books about wolves for a mascot study they are working on this school year.

My Students

My students are 21st-century learners who are constantly seeking knowledge. They are always looking for ways to develop critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and personal responsibility in fun and engaging ways. This school year they are taking on a unique learning project by partnering with our local zoo in order to help our school mascot. My students need STEM based resources that foster learning in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math to help with their new mission. They will be researching, creating projects to share what they have learned, hosting broadcasting sessions, and creating an action based school wide project to raise awareness for our mascot.

My Project

My students are looking for ways to make research more fun and engaging. This year we formed a partnership with our local zoo and are learning about ways to help our mascot. Our goal is to learn about wolves in interesting ways and to come up with a way for our whole campus to help them in the wild.

My students need books about wolves to use during this learning process.

The White Wolf, A Wolf Called Wander, and Wild Rescueres: Guardians of the Taiga are chapter books that will be used to create engaging book clubs. Students will not only read the books, but create STEM challenges related to the problems that arise through out the story. The remaining titles are picture books about wolves. Students will be able to read and share information they learn from the books to direct their goals and to share with others via projects. My students will also be hosting a mascot talk in our campus news broadcast in which they share wolf information and challenges with other students.
