My Project

Sensory overload is a typical problem for my students. They often become overwhelmed by their environment and are unable to function. My students need ways to expel their extra energy and meet their sensory needs. They struggle to focus when overwhelmed or unable to move around.

Giving my students Wiggle Wobble Chair Feet will provide them with a way to increase focus while releasing excess energy and anxiety.

This increased focus will lead to calmer students and better academic results.

I am honored to get to work with all 8 of the students in my classroom.

My students are energetic and warm-hearted. Each one has a wonderful, loving personality and lights up any room they walk into. However, they often get overwhelmed, which causes them to act out and miss out on valuable instruction. They have varying disabilities including: Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Autism, and other conditions which affect how they perform in daily life activities. My biggest goal with my students is to help them learn how to perform daily activities without becoming overwhelmed and acting out or shutting down.
