My Students
I work at a Title I school in Florida. Most of the students at our school receive free or reduced-price lunch. They come from a variety of backgrounds. My class is made up of 20 students, all on varying levels. My students are a fun bunch of third graders.
They all have one thing in common, they love learning.
The students in my class love engaging activities. I want to further their engagement by providing activities for them to use in multiple subject areas.
My Project
My students need wobble seat cushions to stay focused during rigorous academics. My students who were displaced due to Hurricane Maria from Puerto Rico lose focus during reading. The wobble cushions will be used to extend their focus, which will put them on the road to academic success.
The students need wobble chairs to reach their full academic potential.
These cushions will be used at their desk and in small groups. The wobble cushions will help them during independent reading time by building their stamina and academic focus. The students will also use the cushions to focus and build their language skills.
