My students are fun and energetic group of kindergartners. They love to learn and share what they are doing in and outside of the classroom. They enjoy reading books, playing games, and expressing their thoughts through conversations, drawings and writing.
Our school is located in a vibrant neighborhood full of cultural diversity and artistic expression.
We are a Pre-K through 8th grade school with about 400 students. It is a great place for students to learn and grow and become life long learners.
My Project
Currently, my students have very old chairs that are missing pieces which cause the chairs to be unbalanced. When the students are unbalanced, they have difficulty with completing assignments because they have to lean and stretch to reach materials. They are also not very comfortable chairs and many of the them are too small for my students.
The Wobble Chairs would allow students to move and wiggle as they need in order to stay focused and without distracting neighbors.
The chairs would also provide comfortable seating for the students and allow them to move their bodies easily when engaging in group activities or completing individual work.
