My Students

I teach in a very diverse school system with the most dedicated staff and administrators. Students at my school are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. I teach in a departmentalized grade level, teaching Math, Science, and Social Studies to two homerooms.

I do everything in my power to keep my students in a safe and caring learning environment.

All of them have benefited greatly from small group instruction and are always engaged by using a variety of hands-on materials and technology. They are always eager and excited to learn and love a challenge

My Project

My students have a wide range of learning needs and abilities. It is vital to create the most positive learning environment with minimal distractions.

The wobble stools will promote active sitting and will address the issue of sitting for prolonged periods of time in a stationary position.

My students will be able to move around while learning and not distract their peers. Not only will my students who have learning disabilities benefit from wobble stools, but my typical students will benefit as well. By having access to wobble stools, it will allow all of my students to learn more and be more comfortable in the classroom.
