My students need 3 Kore Wobble chairs to help us continue with our flexible seating plan!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Ohrin's classroom raised $306
This project is fully funded
My Students
In our 1st grade room, we don't believe in sitting still at our desks all day! We learn best by moving, creating, and exploring. We already have some flexible seating options, such as wiggle seats, rugs, a lowered table, and pillows. Choosing where to work helps us take charge of our learning!
I am lucky to have 18 wonderful learners in my room this year.
They are energetic and love to learn. This is one of the most creative groups of kids I have worked with. They work best with hands-on activities. Our school is a great place to work and learn. Our teachers are dedicated to our kids and their families. It is truly a community school.
My Project
These WOBBLE chairs will fit right into our flexible seating classroom. In addition to regular stools, individual rugs, a lowered table, pillows and benches, my first graders will be able to use these stools to work comfortably. They will use these to focus better on their work, and also to work collaboratively with others. They will be able to move these around the room to work where needed. Some teachers compare this type of seating plan to a "Starbucks Classroom"... a place where our young students can work, learn, and play comfortably and openly.
This active group of kids really need to move while working.
They will be able to focus more on their work with this new seating option. These chairs will help ensure that our classroom continues to be a 21st century learning space where they do anything!
