This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students face a variety of learning and behavioral challenges every day. They have diverse learning skills and needs. Having hands-on learning materials for my students to use when they are struggling to learn is essential.

Each child has their own unique way of learning and allowing interactive learning is the only way to engage each student with their individual learning style.

My students need some extra motivation to learn new concepts and using gross motor materials will help me accomplish this. My school represents a large portion of low-income families with diverse backgrounds. Each student needs individualized learning to be a successful member of our society and school. I chose materials that will not only help with classroom management but engages students in moving while staying on task. The FlexSpace seating materials I have chosen will allow my students to stay active, healthy, and be engaged while learning material during circle time and morning meetings. The Lakeshore FlexSpace Classroom Wobble Chairs are perfect for my students who can not stay still on the carpet during circle time and morning meeting time. The storage compartments will allow me to store books for independent reading time for my Kindergarten students. Help me bring this project to life and support all my learners in my classroom.
