I teach at a Title I school in Texas over 80 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. I may not be able to control what they experience in their home life, but I can influence what happens to them at school. I teach technology and I’m always trying to find ways to get the students excited about learning. I hope to help touch each student and help them to love technology as much as I do.
My Project
I am requesting wobble stools for my computer lab. Right now my students sit on stability balls and chairs. The stability balls are not durable. I would like to replace the balls with wobble stools. My students would benefit from the stools because it would allow them to reach the desktops easier than when on the stability balls. It would also allow them to easily wiggle around without the danger of falling off.
I want to help provide my students with as many options as possible to help them be successful.
Many of my students have trouble focusing and would benefit from sitting on stools rather than sitting in a regular chair.
