This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year, I will continue to have the pleasure of teaching and assisting in building our gifted program. They are smart, funny, witty, and highly capable students who deserve every resource money can buy to help them succeed in education and in life. Most of the students in this local, small neighborhood school have been enrolled since Pre-K.
My Project
My students love flexible seating. Our old stools are breaking and falling apart.
We need 4 replacement wiggle stools for the classroom.
Not only are they fun to sit on, but these wiggle stools also help students improve their concentration while working. They are easy to move around the classroom for group work.
Custodians, other teachers and students around the school always want to come to my classroom to learn. Everyone is in awe and want to know where and I got these cool stools for my students. The students love to show them off and tell people about their stools.
