This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to lean back in their chairs. "Four on the floor!" is frequently heard in our classroom. We understand the desire to lean back, and we understand that kids need to fidget and get comfortable in the learning environment. We also understand that our chairs are not meant for this stress. Several have broken, and several students have fallen down.
We are looking to add two wobble stools to our classroom for additional flexible seating.
This way students can remain in their assigned area, and work with group members with a flat table top. But they can also wobble, wiggle, while they work! Hopefully, this will save us from any injuries (to students or to furniture) in the future.
