My Students

My 2nd grade students are from a rural area. Our class has recently become a 1:1 classroom, with Apple iPads as our devices.

With our classroom taking on a transformation after becoming one to one, we need some alternative sitting to make learning more comfortable.

They are curious and full of great ideas, which makes them so excited about learning. They have already exceeded my expectations, with being one to one. We have implemented some differences already but we need help finishing out our flexible seating.

My Project

We already have a few options for flexible seating in our classroom. My students have done a wonderful job adjusting to having a choose. I would like to give them more choices!

Wobble stools allow students to wiggle while they work.

When students can wiggle and still stay focused they produce better work. My students love to have a way to get their energy out while still staying engaged with their work.

These stools and cushions will complete my collection of flexible seating for my wiggly second graders. My goal is to make my classroom a comfortable place for my students to learn.
