Wobble While You Work

Help me give my students wobble chairs that allows them to move without tipping their chairs.

My Students

My first-grade students are absolutely amazing. They come from very diverse backgrounds and their learning needs are just as diverse. One thing is the same amongst all of them. They love, love, love to learn.

These children face their individual challenges with energy, determination and a spirit that is inspiring.

They are little superheroes. They see no limits to what they are capable of achieving, and I work every day to ensure that does not change. We challenge them to start where they are and grow.

My Project

First graders are full of energy and while they work hard, harnessing that energy is difficult. Six year olds are just learning to extend work time ti lengths longer than a few minutes.

These Wobble Chairs would allow the students to expend that energy safely, without fear if tipping.

Being able to move, will keep the blood flowing and hopefully help them concentrate on their learning tasks.

I am hoping to gradually have enough for each and every child in the classroom. Until there are enough for each, these would be set up at our classroom workstations or centers, so they can benefit all 24 of my students.
