Wobble While You Work?

My students need seating such as stability wobble cushions and active chairs to allow them to stay focused and engaged during instruction.

My Students

My students are curious, critical-thinkers that are ready to explore and examine everything that this 21st-century world has to offer them. My students are diverse. They come from diverse homes and financial backgrounds. They have diverse interests and skills. They learn in diverse ways. Despite their differences, my students yearn to create and collaborate with one another.

Many of my students come from neighborhoods that cannot financially power their enthusiasm for learning and exploring.

In class, the students work hard to analyze texts, ask and answer puzzling questions, and collaboratively create original projects that reflect their opinions and/or understanding of various topics.

My Project

My students spend hours of their day confined in desks, and for my students with attention deficit disorders, this is a great struggle. Without an outlet for movement, these students lose focus and often grow frustrated and anxious as the time in their seat grows.

Seating such as active chairs and wobble cushions provide students, especially those who struggle staying in their seat, with a safe and active outlet during instruction.

Sitting on the active chairs and/or Trideer wobble cushions will provide students the activity that they need to release built-up energy. For my students with attention deficits, these seating arrangements will provide a safe release of energy, which will help them focus and remain on task. When students are provided with seating that suits their needs, they will feel respected and empowered in the classroom. It is my hope that, with active stools and wobble cushions, I can help my students become more efficient and comfortable in the classroom.
