Wobble While You Work

My students need wobble chairs to wiggle while they learn. Research shows that movement helps the brain retain knowledge. My energetic Kindergartners need to move as they are learning!

My Students

Our K-4 school is located in a rural area and 75% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Like the majority of our school population, my kindergartners come from low income families. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite these challenges, I strive to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

My Kindergartners are thinkers, creators, questioners, and explorers!!

They are sweet, kind, and energetic!! They like to move, sing songs and thrive on positive attention!

My Project

My energetic Kindergartners are like most 5-6 year old children, they love to move!!! Brain research shows that learning is increased when movement occurs. My students will benefit from this finding by using wobble chairs.

Wobble chairs allow my Kindergartners to wiggle while they work.

These chairs are lightweight and can be easily moved around our room. Students can use them at a table or while working in their laps with clipboards. We will use these chairs throughout the day for all subjects

These wobble chairs will support my efforts to provide flexible seating for my students in our class.
