Help me give my students more seating choices. A lot of students want to sit away from their desks. These wobble cushions and lap desks will give them those choices either on a chair or floor.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class this new school year is filled with many lively students. There are varying needs, from ones who struggle to read and have no number sense, to those who are visionaries at a young age. We are a Title I, free breakfast and lunch school that houses Head Start, Prek 3 through 4th grade.
In our classroom, we work at being a community with excitement in what we are learning.
I offer different ways to learn through technology, hands-on centers, a library of books, project creating, and group work.
The students are curious about science. They listen, create, and write about their STEM creations. I also use Mystery Doug on the Internet to allow their curiosity to sprout some wings. Learning about our world and its animals and plants is a focus of my science. We are a busy class with much energy that needs to have outlets!
My Project
Students move as they learn and focus. Our chairs and desks don't really fit that movement. Our existing two wobble stools don't fulfill the class' needs.
Wobble cushions and lap desks will give my little movers and shakers a chance to choose a better learning environment for themselves.
They will be able to stay at their desks with a wobble cushion on their seat. Or they can choose to take a cushion and a lap desk to another part of the room to complete their work.
These will be a great addition to our classroom as I empower my students' learning.
