My students are incredible! Each student is a completely unique individual with creative and exciting ways of learning. Though they are not always able to adequately express their needs or emotions, they are able to show through their resilience and determination that they love school and thrive with structured instruction.

Everyday I am blown away at how my students push themselves to do their absolute best even through the challenges their disabilities may present.
They are talented, creative, inquisitive, bold, incredible individuals. I am so lucky to be their teacher.
My Project
Children with disabilities like (but not limited to) ADHD, ADD and Autism often have a hard time maintaining joint attention and self monitoring their own sensory and energy needs. Seating that allows movement, like wobble stools, are an easily integrated solution that is non distracting and proven to give an outlet for excessive energy. This helps students retain more information and perform at higher rates.
Wobble stools help increase focus and attention span.
Therefore, no matter the subject, kids are able to focus better and engage with their typically learning peers and curriculum.
The Wobble Stool has a rounded bottom that allows students to rock, spin and make small movements throughout the day. This helps to engage core muscles, release pent up energy and combat sensory needs.
Overall, these seats will help students access their education, and they are light enough that they can travel among all settings. They will give them the opportunity to access their education with their general education peers.
