My Students

The students in my classroom and school come from a very low-income community where all students receive free lunch and breakfast.

Despite limitations, these students are willing to learn and love being at school.

The students dream of being very accomplished in the future. They want to do their best. They want to make a difference in the school, the community and the world. They have big hearts and big dreams.

The school we are in is very small and student-based. We are all very close and like a family. The students are supportive of each other and all grow up facing and dealing with problems together.

These students are our future and I want them to achieve their dreams!

My Project

These stools will provide flexible seating options in the classroom and will allow students with behavioral and movement issues to move while learning.

The stools will allow students to move while learning.

Some students are not able to sit still and learn. The stools will allow them the movement they need to be able to concentrate better on learning.

The students will also be able to use these stools at their desks while working so they can get their needed movement and be able to learn at the same time. The stools will be used every minute of every day in the classroom.
