My Students

Fifth grade is an important transition year. My students are no longer small children, however, they are not yet teens. Our school mission is to create lifelong learners by providing engaging learning experiences that promote inquiry. My ESL students come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.

My class is full of kinesthetic learners.

They are constantly moving around and wanting to explore their learning in a physical way. Finding a way to keep my learners engaged with their work keeps me on my toes every single day!

My Project

My students are an active group. These wobble chairs will help my boys and girls with their need to wiggle. Right now they are wobbling on my normal stools. They lean backwards and forwards on them, and that is a safety concern of mine.

These wobble stools will allow my students to wiggle and wobble all day long without risking their safety.

Wobble stools will also help a few of my friends to focus better in class- the need for movement is so great that it distracts them from being able to work. If I can have a few wobble stools in my class, it will help with these needs.
